Fresh Air Exhaust (FAE) comment:

The Center for Disease Control - U.S. Coast Guard report states that CO concentrations at 5 mph were "mixed". In the report, in the analysis of FAE performance at 5 mph, there was one reading inside the boat that showed an increase from 8.1 ppm without FAE to 10 ppm with FAE installed. This "increase" is less than 2 ppm and is within the range of meter drift (error). This report also noted an increase in CO concentrations at 10 foot behind the boat at 5 mph. This is congruent with our claims of moving the exhaust away from the boat once the propeller is spinning forward.

It is also reported that at 5 mph there was a decrease of the mean CO concentration from 47 ppm to 25 ppm (a reduction of 46%) and a decrease of the peak CO concentration from 1,137 ppm to 267 ppm ( a reduction of 76%).

FAE does not see this as "mixed" but a clear demonstration that FAE reduces CO concentrations significantly once the boat is placed into forward gear.
